Why this one
The DeWalt 20V MAX XR delivers professional-grade durability and high-torque output in a balanced, compact body.
High-efficiency brushless motor performance
The advanced brushless motor delivers up to 57% more run time over brushed equivalents while maintaining compact dimensions. At just 6.9 inches front to back, the tool fits effortlessly into tight framing bays and under-sink plumbing gaps.
Professional multi-speed transmission control
Unlike standard single-speed home drills, the high-efficiency transmission optimizes torque and speed across varied fasteners and hole saws. The heavy-duty 1/2-inch ratcheting metal chuck provides superior bit retention during high-torque applications.
Enhanced LED workspace illumination
A pivoting 3-mode LED work light offers a spotlight mode with a 20-minute shutoff feature, illuminating dark work areas effectively during overhead or interior cabinet installations.
Not for you if…
At 3.4 lbs without the battery, it feels noticeably heavier during prolonged overhead work than ultra-compact 12V alternatives.
